Reel Fishing Charters — Terms & Conditions Last updated: March 2026

Agreement By booking a charter with Reel Fishing Charters, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before your trip.

Bookings & Deposits A deposit is required to secure your charter date. Deposits are non-refundable unless cancellation is initiated by Reel Fishing Charters. Full payment is due on the day of the trip unless otherwise agreed at time of booking.

Cancellations & Weather Policy We fish in a wide range of conditions, but guest safety always comes first. If we determine that weather or sea conditions make a trip unsafe, we will reschedule your charter at no additional cost. Cancellations made by the guest within [X] hours of the scheduled trip forfeit the deposit. Cancellations made outside of [X] hours may be rescheduled subject to availability.

Guest Responsibilities All guests are expected to follow the captain’s instructions at all times. Guests must arrive on time at Fish Creek Campground in Ozello, FL. Late arrivals may result in a shortened trip with no refund of the difference. Guests are responsible for bringing appropriate personal items as listed on our charter preparation guide.

Prohibited Items Certain items are not permitted on board, including personal coolers, GPS devices, illegal substances, and bananas. Guests found with prohibited items may be asked to leave them ashore.

Alcohol Policy Guests are welcome to bring alcohol for personal consumption in moderation. The captain reserves the right to refuse service or end a trip early if a guest’s behavior becomes unsafe or disruptive, with no refund issued.

Children & Minors Guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. The captain reserves the right to require life jackets for minors at all times.

Liability Waiver Fishing and boating involve inherent risks. By booking a charter, guests acknowledge these risks and agree to hold Reel Fishing Charters, its captain, and crew harmless from any injury, loss, or damage arising from participation in charter activities, except in cases of gross negligence. Guests participate at their own risk.

Fish & Wildlife Regulations All fishing conducted on Reel Fishing Charters complies with Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission regulations. Guests are responsible for complying with size, bag limits, and season restrictions. Fishing licenses for all guests are provided by Reel Fishing Charters.

Photography & Media Reel Fishing Charters may photograph or film trips for use on our website and social media. If you prefer not to be photographed, please notify the captain before departure.
