Crystal River Inshore Fishing Report – March 2026

Reel Fishing Charters

March fishing is a big transition period for many of our inshore species such as trout , snook and red fish on the nature coast. As the weather warms trout will begin to make their way out of the back country and are hungry and looking to feed. As these fish transition to flats , bays and creek mouths they become our most consistent fishing this time of year while reds and snook can be more finicky this time of year but under the right conditions are very susceptible when presented with an easy meal. March also marks the peak of sheepshead season. These tasty fish can be found in good numbers on the near shore rock piles and ledges this time of year and make for an awesome day of fishing
